This is a drawn reflection about urban space and the life within. It is not so important to understand this slide, but to see the complexity behind. The master-plan is a team-work with the planning office of the city of Aachen and the urban district administration.

To change room of a quarter it is important not to change its character too much. Small projects that together result in a big one help that the citizens can participate and still identify themselves in their area.
Reading spaces
Together with the Institut Français d’Aix-la-Chapelle we discover urban space in French and Belgian cities. To people interested we aim to bring closer the little differences between culture of space and the space itself. Discovering and exploring those spaces is also for us mind-opening. The upcoming project we look forward to is to connect the unseen frontier between The Netherlands and Germany.
On a funny place in between a little stream called Rodebach or Rode Beek the most western place of Germany is located. It is called Westzipfel. Space is fun.
